Carmel's journey into hairdressing has been shaped by a rich blend of experiences. She began her career in fashion school, nurtured her creativity at art school, and spent six years as a nail technician before discovering her true passion for hair. Carmel started her professional career at The Window in Amsterdam, where she spent nearly five years honing her craft under the guidance of expert educators and alongside a talented team of co-workers.

Now working as a freelance hairdresser at MaaK Amsterdam, Carmel enjoys working with all hair types—curly, wavy, straight, thick, or thin—helping to enhance each client's natural beauty. Before every appointment, she offers a personalized consultation to understand the client's needs and preferences, ensuring the creation of a style that feels right for them. Carmel specializes in textured haircuts that align with the amount of styling effort a client is willing to invest. She also provides keratin treatments for hair that’s frizzy or hard to manage. When it comes to hair color, Carmel collaborates with clients to find the best solution based on how high- or low-maintenance they want their color to be. Her ultimate goal is to deliver a look that suits each client’s lifestyle and helps them feel like the best version of themselves.
